This section provides useful information on how to get here, airline tips, a google map of where we are, as well as bus timetables for Agadir, Marrakech, Essaouira and Casablanca.

How To Get Here

Our Surf House is located at Hash Point in Taghazout, just 15km north of Agadir. There are many easy and inexpensive ways of travelling from Northern Europe to Morocco. We do not offer flights as part of our service, but airport transfers to and from Agadir airport are included in all of our surfhouse packages.

We recommend flying to Agadir Al Massira Airport, which is only a 30-minute drive from Taghazout. Cheap flights are also available to Marrakech, making it a worthwhile stop for people who enjoy sightseeing and culture! Please be aware that Marrakech to Taghazout is about a 3.5-hour drive. Airline Tips…

Our airline tip is Ryan Air!  They offer very cheap flights to Agadir & Marrakech, which is the best connection for reaching Taghazout.

A friendly word of advice… When booking your flight, make sure that you enter your name exactly as it appears on your passport –failure to do so may incur extra costs when presenting your boarding pass at the check-in desk. Ryan Air is not the most luxury airline but it is definitely the cheapest, especially if you travel as light as possible!

Holland

  • Royal Air Maroc – departing from Amsterdam
  • Transavia – departing from Amsterdam (€60 one way and 1 surfboard package* )
  • Brussel Airlines (NEW)
  • Air Berlin – departing from Amsterdam
  • Ryan Air, really cheap flights but departing from Brussels, Belgium to Agadir  from Weezen to Marrakech and from Eindhoven to Marrakech.

On Thursdays we offer airport transfers from Marrakech. This has to be pre-booked. Departure time for our airport transfer is 20.30 at night and the extra costs are 15 euro per person one way. Transfer is straight to Taghazout!!

  • Tip – Transport from Nederland to Germany / Weezen Airport or to Brussel /Charleroi Airport is by public transport. There are several busses departing to Ryan Air Airports from Brussel or Nijmegen.
  • Tip – Be smart and take a double or triple board bag and pack more than one board into it. The company charges only by the number of bags -not by boards! Fill one bag with three boards and split the costs!

If you are planning to travel here by bus we recommend using Supratours or CTM as their buses are the most comfortable and usually have air-conditioning. Both are reliable bus companies that operate between most major towns and cities in Morocco. You can buy your tickets at the bus depot in advance or on the same day.
